Phang NgaPhang Nga is a city (and capital) in the southern province of the same name is located about 800 km from Bangkok. The city has a population of about 9600 people and has an area of approximately 6.75 kilometers. Most people come to Phang Nga as one of the reasons to explore, to the bay.

Phang Nga Bay National Park was proclaimed on 29 April, 1981st It is a geological wonder with eye pleasing site as a beautiful island, karst, caves, sunken and all the other rock formations rising from emerald green sea filled.

phang-ngaThe province of Phang-nga is located some 788 kilometres from Bangkok. It covers an area of 4,170 square kilometres.

Phang-nga is a province with two characters – land and sea – and packed with national parks that guard magnificent scenery with immensely different attractions.

Most famous is Ao Phang-nga National Park, a geological wonder filled with islets, sunken caverns and startling rock formations rising sheer out of the sea.  The bay is extremely sheltered ideal for expeditions of sea canoes to explore the many fascinating caverns with their own eco-systems.
